Summer Reading Celebration

Summer Reading Celebration at CHS
In order to encourage students to read over the summer, the Cocalico High School English Department challenged students to read at least five books and post their books online. Twenty-two students met the challenge and were rewarded with an ice cream and raffle party in the high school library. Many gift card prizes were donated by local businesses—Complete InBox, Wawa, Dairy Queen, Dominos, Courtyard Café, Isaacs, Mister Car Wash—and others were purchased. The two top readers were Hailey Ranck, with 13 books (5396 pages), and Naleah Sauder, with 12 books (5992 pages).
